Cartier Coresi: after 10 years, the story goes on
Coresi - the largest urban regeneration project in Romania, with 120 ha, about 8% of the usable area of Brasov, is designed and developed together with the community, with a long-term vision.
Coresi was conceived from the design phase of the Masterplan as a project centred around people's needs and aspirations. Driven by a long-term vision of urban planning and development, we consider a variety of interrelated issues: architectural quality, integration, aesthetics and urban cohesion, transport and accessibility, green design, cultural heritage of place, innovation and more. We believe in developing mixed-use projects that can offer clients a complete ecosystem of services, add value to cities and strengthen the urban and social fabric around them.
Work is currently underway on a new commercial project, aimed at broadening the visitor experience, creating a destination with attractive anchors, while also responding to visitor expectations, as surveys show that visitors want more mid- to high-end brands, experiences and services. The new retail hub will bring together a Decathlon store on 4,200 sqm, a Bebe Tei store on 2,050 sqm and Farmacia Tei on 856 sqm and 2 furniture and interior decoration stores - Mömax and XXXLutz on 28,000 sqm and Mobexpert on 9,600 sqm. Decathlon, Bebe Tei and Farmacia Tei are expected to open in 2024, and Mömax, XXXLutz and Mobexpert in 2025.
